I STARTED WORKING ON A NEW SERIES ON WOOD...
CALLED ..."MY HAPPY PLACE"....THEY ARE DRAWN
ON SANDED PINE...WOOD BURNED...THEN PAINTED.
SO MUCH FUN....AS PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THEM ...
THEY EVENTUALLY TELLL ME THIER HAPPY PLACE!
GIVING ME MORE AND MORE IDEAS! SO FUN!



The Songsmith Gathering and Whimsical Art sale

 
I SPENT A LOT OF JUNE IN NC AND ONE OF THE BEST 
WEEKENDS WAS @ THE PORTER CENTER @ BREVARD COLLEGE
THEY ASKED ME TO BE A PART OF THE SONGSMITH GATHERING 
TO BENEFIT THE LOCAL CHAPTER OF "SAFE INC" AND TO ALSO
SHOW SOME OF MY ART ! THE CONCERT AND SALE WAS A SUCCESS
AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! 

The Glowing Body Last fall and First Night in Knoxville!


I also got to play a show last fall with Jennifer Nicely and Angel Snow
@ The Glowing Body in Knoxville....it was such a warm  and cozy
quiet setting for music....loverly!


 

and then rang in the new year by playing again in Knoxville 
at The visitors center for "First Night"....celebrations!




Shows with Angel Snow and Victor Krauss.....

 Recently i have been singing back up for my two friends
Angel Snow and Victor Krauss.....they have been writing some 
amazing new songs and asked me to be a part of a series of local shows
to try out the material  live ....before recording

Just back from Minnesota!

        
Just Back from Minnesota! Thanks to all who came out to the house concerts and 
Jim Walsh's Hootinanny....I  had a wonderful time and was really humbled by all 
the hospitality and generosity of my fellow musicians Tim Frantzich and his family
and Alison Rae and her family....who put me up for the week....along with
The Hardings in Chicago......I couldn't do what i do without you!

NC House Concert was Heavenly!

 Thanks to all of you that made the effort to come up to Lake Toxaway NC
to The Womble's House concert last night!
I think we were about 38 total!!!  Thank you to everyone that brought  food and beverages to share....it was all so lovely!
Sarah and I had a wonderful time.... performing two sets of  music to a more than attentive crowd of local
music lovers and friends as we watched the sun set over Cold Mountain.....
Thank you to the Wombles for a wonderful opportunity !!!!

Joined Julie For a Full length performance of Her 
New Ep at The 2009 Festival Of Faith and Music 
Calvin College, Grand Rapids Michigan
which was the kick of to Their "Will There Really Be a Morning" Tour


Aaron  Roche also Performed a short set of his original music 
At the 2009 FFM festival...from his latest release.... TRAVEL



Then we traveled to Nathan's Hometown of Mansfield Ohio
...to perform at The Bellville Opera House 

...for the release  of his new full length  LP  ....
"POSTCARD"



and  then we traveled onto Cincinnati Ohio
to perform a house concert at
The Convent Retreat House in Norwood


....but we had a day off the day before ...so we went to Over The Rhine
(a neighborhood in Cincinnati) to an Underground  Jazz Club...


with Karin and Linford of  the band .....Over The Rhine......talk about a Beautiful night!!!

we traveled down to Knoxville Tn to play The Square Room 
and The  WDVX Blue Plate Special the following morning!
where we were joined by Jason Goforth!
